CHEF JOSUE

Hailing from Tampico, a large city with many cultural influences in Mexico, my family moved to Texas at the age of 8.  I quickly had to adapt to a new country and food was a huge part of that transition.  My mother and grandmother made sure to remind me of my heritage with every meal they taught me to make. I saw the power that simple ingredients have to bring people together over a small plate of chilaquiles or hosting 50 people with my dad’s famous pozole recipe (which got me to qualify for Master Chef).  I fell in love with hospitality and worked in restaurants for over 10 years while transitioning to any job that involved empowering people through thoughtful well made food.  Being a private chef gives me the opportunity to share my love for hospitality through beautiful dishes that inspire and remind me that everyone has a place at the table.
